pamela bioPamela Miller is a Mindful Yoga Instructor with eight years of teaching experience in private sessions, Carmen High School and Milwaukee public schools. She is entering her seventh year teaching mindful yoga at Shorewood High School. Her wide-ranging training and certifications, highlighted with a Bilingual Certification from Alverno College and practice in instructing children with therapeutic and special needs, equip her with the skills to teach a diverse range of individuals. She uses yoga, mindfulness, and her Circle Process Certification training to instill self awareness and self confidence in her students, develop respectful dialogue and intentional conversations, and ultimately build a stronger classroom and community.

Pamela is certified in Trauma Sensitive Yoga Training with David Emerson, has completed 159 hours of training at Global Family Yoga earning a Therapeutic Yoga for Children Certification in addition to focusing on yoga practices for children ages four through teen. She is a certified 200 hour registered yoga teacher and almost finished with her 500 hour registered teacher training (2017-2019). Her Mindfulness training includes Mindful Schools Curriculum, Growing Minds Curriculum, Mindful Self Compassion, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. The summer of 2018 she completed a year long, mindfulness teacher training for adolescents and young adults through with iBme (Inward Bound Meditation Education – out of Boston).
