Ashley Michaels has a background in mindfulness, yoga and Early Childhood Education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the School of Education at UW-Milwaukee.
Ashley served as a public school teacher in Milwaukee for 6 years, implementing mindful practices with students in her own classroom.
She received her mindfulness training through Growing Minds and completed her yoga and wellness certification with Breathe For Change, an organization designed specifically for educators around yoga, mindfulness, social emotional learning and self-care.
“Growth” is a word that holds deep meaning for Ashley. Working with the Reset-Mindbody organization is an opportunity for her to reach hundreds of students in a single school year. Ashley believes that we are all living a continuous practice of growth. Through mindful practices, she can support students in fostering their own relationship with themselves and the world around them.
